Wow I have not written in awhile and not sure anyone is reading but... UPDATE time!
Summer went well, I loved my time with my Personal Trainer and def feel better/healthier/stronger!
Aug- Boots n Hearts festival was AMAZING- Canada's first HUGE country music festival. i had VIP weekend thanks to SHANE YELLOWBIRD, and loved seeing artists like Carrie Underwood, Lionel Ritchie, Gord Downie, Kid Rock and many more!!
I saw my fav boy LORD STANLEY (stanley cup) in AYR with winner Kyle Clifford! Good times
My beautiful Niece turned 1- so cute! i bought her a tea set with cart and fake food, lol

Sept- was good.... Went shopping in buffalo. I won tix to see JASON MRAZ and loved that!!
Sadly the NHL went into a lockout an yet again wrecked my life :( so sad... I hate not watching hockey!
My cousin Erin got married!

Oct- I took my reg Oct trip to Nashville even without Hockey, it was nice to see friends and be there and not have to miss events etc due to hockey games, not that it was a good thing, I miss hockey SO MUCH!  Saw my friend gabby get married and saw a free Luke Bryan show on broadway!
I saw Cirque show AMALUNA, it was incredible!
My Nephew turned 4 years old, he is growing way too fast, he is so smart. He started JK school this year and is ahead of most kids in reading and letters.
I got to hang out and catch up with my good friend Jeanette who is now living in California!
Apt hunting now because Mom and Dad are putting their house up for sale! They are moving to a Modular Home (glorified trailer park) and its beautiful! 2 bed, 2 bath.
Halloween- I was Pebbles from flinstones and then I was puck bunny again!

NOV- MOvember! raising money for Prostate Cancer!
Busy month of work and cleaning moms place to show it. Cleaning out all the junk, I think I have been to the Goodwill at least 7 times now! :P
I found a place to live, renting a room in Kitchener with a nice lady and her 2 small dogs!
I took some things over this week and will move all the rest this friday!
SO excited to have and decorate my own space again! She is building me my own bathroom, so it won't be done this week but should at least be IN soon, functional toilet, sink and shower! :)
it will be weird to be renting again, but so great as well. I know mom will miss me but its good for both of us, as she is moving to a smaller house and I need my own space again too!
December is coming so soon..... Christmas will soon be here and I am headed south to Nashville with Trish for 2 weeks!

One month ago I wrote.... wow I must be on a monthly thing- to post on the 7th of every  month lol!
July was MUCh better then June!

I did my work outs with Mychel and I am in my last weeks, sad to see it end!
I have lst some weight but really just got back into better shape! Scale numbers don't mean much to me, its all about how I look and feel on the inside and out and only matters what I think not what others think!

I was proud to be Haileys GODMOTHER at her baptism!! She is so sweet and cute and fun and amazing, I look forward to watching her grow and grow!
Lucas is amazing as well, so smart- we are all nervous for his JK teacher this fall, he already knows his ABC's and numbers and he knows his address and he knows his vowels... I mean what doesn't this kid know already? lol sheesh!
So smart and cute! I love them both!

I started my own business MISHWAH- its consulting, but meaning I am here to help those in need!
I can Nanny, House cleaning, House sitting, Pet sitting and more..... help those around me who need help!
Its what I do!


Had a lot of crazy NASHVILLE PREDATORS news this summer too- Suter left and I was soooo happy!
Tootoo left and I was sooooooo sad :(

I am excited for the season to start!

My friends cat passed away this week, very sad! I used to watch TAYLOR when his family was away every Christmas and now it will be so different without him! :(

Uncle Marty turned 70 and went skydiving- how awesome is that!? I hope I am doing crazy fun things at the age of 70 too, its not OLD, its just OLDER!

My friend Shannon had a baby girl- Charlotte aka CHARLIE, so sweet, can't wait to meet her!

Life is good, working my 4 part time jobs, but looking forward to the fall for travels all over!

Updates

June was a VERY hard month..... emotionally, physically and much more!
One of my clients that I clean house for passed away, and that was very sad, I saw him every week he was an amazing older man who loved Hockey so we always would chat about the game and our teams!
I will miss you JACK! I was even more sad that the family didn't call me to tell me when the funeral was, so I missed it :(

Then I got an eye irritation which felt like metal IN my eye and was red and sore and swollen, saw the eye DR and he wasn't sure, so I tried 4 different drops over the next 4 weeks, it is feeling better, but was still dried out! I go to see the DR again in a few weeks, hope all is better!

Then Aunt Lou flew here cuz Norm wasn't doing well, he had fallen and was in Hospital and not eating etc..
he was suffering and God knew it was time.... Norm passed away and so Uncle Don and Scott flew in to help and to be here for the Funeral and to be with Joyce (norms wife) all very sad.
Norm was my uncles dad but not my grandpa but he lived across the street from Aunt Sue so we saw him often! loved him heaps!

It was a rough month and work was just busy and overwhelming with all these things. I felt drained.

I am doing MUCH better now! I have started a 6 week weight loss/tone up program, I have a personal trainer MYCHEL who is helping me twice a week and a nutritionist Donna who is making me a meal plan!
Here goes nothing...... ready to see a change! lets do this!
Today was session 1 of 12..... hard work, but felt great after, just have to stick with my program and eat right, no drinking (hard part) lol and I can do this!



Determined to feel better and get back in shape!
House sitting lots this summer and going to a few weddings and man concerts, should be fun!

SMASHVILLE for PLAYOFFS!

I worked 2 days mon and tues, then packed my bags for NASHVILLE again!
Trish and I drove tues night after my basketball game. Left around 10:20pm.... drove through the night, stopped in southern Ohio at 4:30am to get a hotel! Slept for 5 hours or so and was up and ready to drive to my fav place on earth.. SMASHVILLE!
We arrive just after 2pm Nashville time (3pm at home) and drive straight to TIN ROOF for lunch on the patio, hot sun was awesome to sit in and enjoy the food!
Drove to Romans to unpack and get ready!
Headed downtown at 5pm for PREDS PLAZA party.. met friends for a drink at Rippys!
We got our faces painted and went inside the arena. got our pics taken and went to say hi to friends at Auction table, then went to get our free GOLD shirts!
Our seats were high up but great view of the ice!

We moved down to section 103 to sit near some friends cuz there was empty seats! THANKS THOMAS!

GREAT GAME PREDS WIN GAME 1 with the score 3-2!!!

EXCITED! I stood on the seats and whipped my gold shirt around and cheered SO LOUD it hurt:)

We went out to Flying Saucer for a drink and food!

Thurs- up and ready to shop! Bring on this beautiful SUNNY day! did I mention that I LOVE THIS CITY??? lol

Denver the hippy land that I now love

Thurs morn I got up early to get ready... we drove to ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK! it was amazing. So beautiful and I took heaps of pics of mountains but they were breath taking in person!

We drove south through LYONS and down into Denver to meet Adrienne for lunch at a cool place called SNOOZE! Very rad vibe to it, I have Curious George Pancakes that came with banana and nutella- YUM!
It was great to catch up with Adreinne, who I met in Florida YEARS ago! so fun!
We then drove to buy some tickets for the SUNS basketball game vs denver for fri night! I bought them from a guy off craigslist! $20 for the pair..... heck ya!
We drove over to Russ' house so I could change and get ready! Kev, Russ and I went out bar hopping. we went to Park and Co, Falling Rock tap house, Baracuda, thin man and then ended at El Diablo!
Each place was VERY different, some better then others but a great way to see around the city.

Preds played that night in Dallas- they won 2-0!!
With the high elevation and time difference I never did party all night, we were usually home by 11 or 12! lol but so much fun!

FRI- woke up and went to breakfast with Russ, we wanted to try a new place and boy was it SHADY (penn st perk) it was weird with no real decor idea, just random things all over, spider man doll, plants everywhere, chinese wall hanging and placemats, then it had a movie projector and a big white screen showing tv/movies... random! Food was ok, not great and Russ hated the coffee, and the tea to me was not great either! oh well... live n learn!
Russ went to work and I played online looking for Preds tix for sat night.
Emily came to pick me up and we headed down to 16th street pedestrian mall. So cool, lots of stores all outside and restaurants and stuff. nice place to walk and be outdoors!
We drove to Russ' so I could change again and we headed to OBLIO'S pizza with Kevin, his budy from COllege owns it. Small pizza joint but so fun and GREAT food! The owner bought us shots and Emily couldn't take one cuz she was going to work, so i took 2!
Kevin and I headed downtown for our Denver Nuggets vs Phoenix Suns basketball NBA game!
We got there to the PEPSI centre and Kevin ran into an old friend who gave us 2 tix for the 3rd ROW!!!
THANKS CHE! Those tix were worth $150 each!! It was amazing to be close, I was cheering for the SUNS cuz they have my boy Steve Nash!! nuggets won by 3 but what a fun game!

We went to some dive bar on the corner that had a guy on piano and a girl on drums doing requests... was fun actually when it got busy! We had a girls vs boys competition for singing and girls won- we won free shots! There was tons left over so I took another 4 shots :P
Home to bed!!

SAT-last full day in Denver! Russ' schedule changed sadly so he had to go to work early. Kevin and I went to the Denver Zoo- I LOVE animals I just hate them in cages! but i wanted to see them.  Many pics from here!
Then we drove to meet a guy to buy tix for the Preds game. we headed on I-70 to go find the buffalo bt they were hiding :(
We drove to RED ROCKS which is an outdoor stage in the rocks- incredible place! I need to go back and see a show there!
We drove to capital hill area and went to CAFE BAR where Russ is the GM, we had a nice early dinner and drinks! Was great that Russ could sit and chat with us, I love him!
no time never anytime we had to rush downtown to the Pepsi Centre- I got changed in the parking lot and we headed in for the PREDS vs AVS game. Detroit had already lost that afternoon so Preds already had 4th place clinched with home ice advantage! :) :) :)
Seats were high up but so fun to be there! My Preds won 6-1!!!! amazing. nice to have a big W going into playoffs wed!
headed back to El Diablo for drinks and chips then home to bed. Russ was still awake when I got in- so I got to see/chat with him before my early flight in the morn.

SUN-up early, dressed and ready, all packed and NOT ready to go!!! I love this city of Denver and I WILL BE BACK!
Russ was great and drove me to the airport :) My flight was at 815am. Sad to say bye to my friends and to this new place that I love.
2 flights home and I was back in my car driving from Buffalo to ontario.
Drove to my cousins house just in time to eat some Easter dinner and dessert with my family!

PUGS on a plane... to Denver

Travel again.... drove to BUF flew to DET then flew to DEN.... There were 2 pugs on my first plane sitting behind me- FOR REAL... one was asleep and the other barked a lil.. cute though!
Finally arrived in Denver Colorado and Kevin picked me up from the airport!
We drove toward the mountains and it was awesome, it snowed as i was landing but the farther north we went the sunnier and brighter it got and there was no snow!
We arrived at his place to unpack and refresh for a moment! We changed and headed downtown Fort Collins to Coppers Schmit for dinner and a beer. I ordered a nice black bean burger-yum and we had beer SAMPLES. I tried the cider and the apricot beer- both good. I drank LOTS of water too cuz with living at this elevation you have to be careful and not drink too much!
Fun times, we met up with 4 of his friends and had a great night! MY PREDS won in a shoot out 2-1- SO HAPPY!
Ryan, Jacob, Kev and I played table shuffle board and it was close games but Kev and I lost both times!
Time for bed! 2 hours behind ONT time.... so I was sleepy come 12 midnight here.
Blew up the blow up mattress, took a shower and hit the bed! ahhh good night!

Wed- woke up at 6, slept again til 7.. got dressed and headed to Verns for breaky... small town lil joint, local place, looks like its from 1960 and still run by the same family-cute. Local breaky place with cute old men up here for daily food.
They had dead/stuffed animal heads/bodies all over... very country!
I had veggie breakie and OJ, then we headed to the Canyon to Poutre (poot her) lol we drove in the mountains/canyon and it was really cool, lots of cows n horses then we saw deer and that made me happy! tons of pics of mountains to show later!
Drove home to get gas and call on neighbour Candace, we drove to a hiking trail and walked a lot. up huge trail to the top to see the water and the other side. great view, was warm n sunny, i think we all got a lil wind and sun burn!
I took my pic with the local PARK RANGERS!! i was such a tourist it was great.. even wore a TO maple leafs shirt... which i wore for the FIRST time today... lol just so people know I am Canadian!
Home to grocery shop and get a starbucks smoothie. Changed and headed to ONE of the 21 local breweries... great lil samples of beer. I tried 3 glasses of different types but only liked 2. I sipped a few of Kevs n Candaces- yum. Great pics and great times! fun place.
Total HIPPIE land here... I love it, everyone friendly and eco friendly and some even wearing tie dye! yup- awesome
We drove into downtown Fort Collins to walk/shop and take pics. Headed home as it got dark and cooked an amazing stir fry with tofu! yum
Candace came over for drinks and we watched Frozen planet and Goon!
Great day..... shower and ready for bed!

Smashville sat-tues!

Sat- I went to the boutique sale in the gulch and there was nothing exciting! I tried on a shirt/dress but it wasn't right!
I went home to work out and rest and watch some tv. Shower and get ready for a great night!
headed downtown with Roman and Emily and I went right into Arena for PREDS vs SHARKS!
I saw in 222 by myself for the first 2 periods... then Roman and his boss John and his son Willy came!
Great game.... we scored 2 goals on our first 2 shots!!
WE WON 6-2!!!
We headed to Stage but Emily was drunk and loud and we didn't want to wait in line with her like that so we went to Tootsies!
great live band.... tons of hockey players from CANADA were there for the PCL hockey tournament!
I met a bunch of good guys and drank and danced with them for awhile!
I wanted to hit up Tin ROof, so we cabbed over and it was good to see friends that I knew, that were not a drunken mess!
I didn't stay there too long, walked home cuz its nice and close!
I tried to sleep but Roman and emily were loud when they got back... urgh! 5am I finally slept!

Sun- up early, dressed and ready for church. Drove to Oasis for 1015 service, it was awesome as always! great soulful choir and live band... great message on VISION. I enjoyed every peaceful moment of it!
I went to shop but couldn't find anything I loved.....I had tea time with Dougie at Frothy Monkey at 4pm and enjoyed sitting outside in the warm sunny day!
I met Joel M for Dinner at Jacksons and we had a cute lil laughing time... the one waiter showed us Jupiter and Uranus (in the stars-for real) We went to Sweet Cici's for come ice cream. Peach flavor was ok, not the best!

I changed into my Jp's and headed to see Christy and Christian on the Eastside, we watched the Oscars together! Nice chill night!

Mon- Ahhh a day to sleep in!! SWEET!
I did my work out and watched the Criminal Minds that I had PVR'd. I went and had a lovely lunch at TIN ROOF, got my queso and chicken greek salad! Hot bartender was working and he was nice, I took my time and enjoyed the sun and the sports updates on tv- TRADE DEADLINE DAY! We got Kostitsyn from Montreal and another guy from Buffalo!
I drove to the east to see Jill and Addison, we went for a great walk in Shelby park! So hot out I love it! Sweating even!
Home to Romans to get ready for GAME time! I parked at FRIST and had a beer at Rippys, then went to say hi to Thomas and friends at The Palm before heading into the arena! I love going to games early to say hi to friends and walk around and see what is new and exciting and I love watching warm-up!!!! GO PREDS GO!
PREDS vs KINGS... we had seats in 114 that Ron from the Auction table gave to me- thank you Ron!
I gave Joel, Roman and Thomas a ticket!
Another GREAT game.... almost a shout out for Pekka! we won 2-1 and I was sooo happy!
This week of 4 home games we got a possible 7 out of 8 points- that is amazing, I was happy to watch such great games, such great wins!
After the game we said bye to Ron and Tim and went up to Patron Club to say hi and bye to friends!
Celebration times- We went to Flying Saucer for a pint and some yummy popcorn! not a late night, I stopped by Tin Roof on ym way home, one last visit- I can't get enough :P
Home to pack and sleep!

Tues- up early at 7am.... food and finish packing! Time to drive north- urgh, NOT READY TO GO!
The drive was clear and dry and for that I am thankful!
Got home just before 7pm, so took about 11 hours, which is normal!
I changed and went to my basketball game and we won 36-21! YAY!

Smashville thurs-sat morn updates

Thurs rollerblade through Centennial Park was awesome, i did about 10 miles on blades then did a 1 mile run! So sunny out I just laid on the grass and read my book... ahhhh so peaceful!
I came home to grab some food and just sat outside and chatted on the phone with many great peeps! I just wanted to stand in the sun ALL day!
I watched Ellen then had a shower and got ready.
Roman and I cabbed downtown to meet Thomas at The Palm for a drink before the game! Into the arena..... I love life! I donated some gardening supplies that they needed and went to see my auction table friends and got an amazing PREDS scarf that she had made just for me... its so soft I love it!

I had ticket for 306 but that is so far away so I sat in 111 with my boys that rock THANKS TIM!
Close game.... ah. OT then SHOOT OUT... sadly we lost in S/O but thankfully we got 1 point for that- we need ALL the points we cacn get to stay in playoff running.

After game we hit up some broadway bar with music of course- fun times with Roman and Thomas! Blake called and put my name on the guestlist for Montgomery Gentry private show so I ran over there.... open bar!!!
Met some drunk people, saw a HOT HOT HOT black cowboy but didn't get his name.. darn it. Party with Blake there then we walked to Renissance Hotel to the Bridge Bar... lots of industry peeps. Met a few people, nice guys. One guy looked like a lil hillbilly in his HD tank top but he was actually a MILLIONAIRE- -crazy eh!
We took this after after party back to AVERAGE JOES for some fun with all teh AJ peeps! Thanks Blake!
Home to sleep at 5am!

FRI-up at10am...... dressed and ready to head to Sportsplex for Preds open Practice! I love to watch them, play or practice they are just FUN!
Everyone but Erat was skating. I headed to lunch with Joel at Las Maracas... I was craving Queso (and he wouldn't go to tin roof-boo) we had a good lunch with LOTS of laughs. We saw a CAVEMAN like for real this guy was straight out of the GEICO commercials, crazy! then an old man with a HUGE wooden STAFF sat near us... Gandolph is that you?? LMAO fun times!
Shopping time in Brentwood, unsuccessful! :(

Over to Kroger to stand in line for my Preds... KLEIN and HORNQUIST!
I love it! I told Kev I was from cambridge cuz he is from Kitchener and I said I had met him at his wifes birthday party once.... he remmebered :)
I asked abotu thier son and he is good, they have another on the way!! i asked if he needed a NANNY and he laughed...then said- actually I don't know, Jodi deals with that- so I told him to find me if he does need someone!!!! (fingers crossed)
Nice to see them, so great for them to take time to meet the fans!

Dinner with Paul at Saffire, cool vibe at the factory in franklin.
Was suppose to go to a concert with Joel but we changed plans and I went to check out his new house.. so cool!
We went to Edgefield to meet up with Christy, Christian and his crazy Canadian friends! ONE guy was from CAMBRIDGE ONT... get out of here!
We ran into Ryan which was crazy then on my way out the canadians were saying... "You have to meet michelle she is from cambridge" and I turned around and it was my buddy SAM ELLIS (who i already know) SMALL WORLD.... 3 people from Cambridge ONT in NASHVILLE at the same bar at the same time!!! that S**t kray
We headed over to 308 for a nice smoke FREE environment! Cool drinks because they make their own SODA/COLA for the mixed drinks! very cool

Drop off Sam and Joel and home to bed!

SAT- today is sunny but windy! Let's go shop and enjoy the day- CHEERS!

nashville again.. yes :)

I arrived tues, it was SO nice out I went for a run outside, then did my work out inside!
I went for pancakes at noshville and they were HUGE and delicious!
Preds vs Canucks at 7pm.. what a GREAT game we won 3-1!!! Mike Wolfe from American Pickers was at the game! After show was Mike Fisher cuz he was 1st star of the game!
We went out to tin roof and it was a quiet night... so I headed to Printers Ally to BOURBON STREET bar for MARDI GRAS jazz and beads and fun!
4am went to bed!

Wed- a lil rainy so I went shopping of course! found some good stuff :)
I had dinner at Las Plamas for national MARGARITA day- yum, I love mango margarita!!
I hit up Blackstone restaurant where Tootoo does his radio show, got to talk with him and get some stuff signed and meet Hal Gill who is 6'7" yikes he is tall!
I asked Hal if he needed a Nanny but he didn't bring his kids to Nashville. He signed my jersey!
I got Jordin to sign a 2003/2004 PREDS calendar that someone awesome gave me!! cool eh.. he was still #55 back then! he also signed a hat for a good buddy of mine- Native Brothers:)

I headed to Rocketown to see my Canadian boys TFK and Manafest... great show. Red played too and they rock but they are not Canadian lol! It was so cool to see Carrie UNderwood and Mike Fisher FRONT ROW at Rocketown to rock out to TFK.. man I love this world!
Got to chill on the bus and hang out and catch up, then we went to grab some food at Whisky Kitchen and it just was great to see them and be in the same city!

Another late night but always worth it!

Thurs- its nice out but was rainy early this morning! I headed downtown to get a $10 preds ticket for tonight... now I am off to Centenial park to rollerblade and work out! talk soon!
