CVD visits ONT

So happy to see one of my BFF's CVD back visiting ontario!!
I was trying to see her ON her 30th birthday but she was very busy with family, which is ok!

So finally monday afternoon I got to see her :)
She showed up and we hung out with the pets that I am watching then we got ready to go out to dinner!
CVD chose Beertown so we went and had some beer and some fun! :)
Our waitress was so nice that Carolyn wanted to be her bff! too cute!
Carolyn ordered a steak and I had a nice tomato pasta. I ordered a shot for her b-day and the staff brought her a free brownie dessert :)
We caught up and laughed a lot and took pics.. its what we do!
We had a great meal and we wished that KRISTA could have been there with us.. but she is in BC :P

MISS all 3 of us TRIFECTA being together!
Happy to see CVD and to text Krista to say we missed her!

Summer time 2013

Its been a busy summer so far!
I have been puppy and dog sitting weekend after weekend, but I am taking time to hang with friends and travel as usual too!
I went to Nashville in June with the girls and that was my last big trip so far!
I am planning on heading back south to Nashville in OCT for HOCKEY season to start!
Opening game is oct 8th!!! Preds play the Leafs Oct 10th... so a bunch of friends want to go but everyones schedule is different, so we will have to plan and see what we can do!
I am excited that CVD is home in CANADA I just hope I see her this trip! Yesterday was her 30th birthday!
Also Angela and Matt are home from Taiwan and they are slowly making their way to ONTARIO! I can't wait to see them :)
This week there is the annual NHL CHARITY HOCKEY GAME!!! So excited to see the players and meet some new ones!
I love RICH CLUNE and NICK SPALING from Preds right now. Nick will be at the game :)
House sitting until July 31st, 1 dog 1 cat! then long weekend and I am headed to BOOTS and HEARTS country music festival for the whole weekend with Tiffany :)
Then dog sitting for Cathy for the week, busy times but it pays the bills!
Trish and I took Mom and Dad to a BLUE JAYS game as a late fathers day gift, that was fun and they won! Mom and Dad had never seen the Jays win at home before so that was a treat!
I have been doing my fitness classes on thurs with Mychel and started an Xtreme bootcamp on tuesdays too. Did yoga outdoors with luke yesterday and that was nice!
Trying to save up money for some fall trips! Maybe a cruise or Florida..... we'll see!
Enjoying life, spending time with family n friends!

Sad to announce that HERB QUICKFALL passed away last week, he is Phil's Dad and I cleaned out at the farm for him every wed, I will miss him dearly, he was a very kind man who always loved to make others laugh and smile:)

I went to Camp MAPLE GROVE to see Tom, Tam, Shawn, Linda and Alicia, was sooooo fun! I loved leading a campfire for them :) kids are so fun! I miss camp days!

WHOA- where have I been? lol

Oh boy... its been MONTHS since I last wrote!

Sooooo many things happened!
Dec mom and dad put their house on the market and I moved into a house in Kitchener.
Trish and I went to nashville for 2 weeks at Xmas til after New years... sadly with NO hockey to watch!
Rang in the new year party hopping in nashville with friends, then of course going by TIN ROOF to see our fav bartenders in the world!
Jan 5th one of my BESt friends CVD got married to her Aussie sweetheart Craig!
I tried and liked hot yoga... and joined for a few weeks, felt great but I only went for the new client sign up offer... that stuff is expensive!
reg basketball on tues nights and fitness class on thursday nights keeps me busy!
Trish and I drove to Buffalo to watch the Sabres play our boys the Hurricanes :) Yay Tim Brent-love our local boy!
We took Dad to see guelph storm play- coach Scott Walker.
Dad turned 65 this year!! WOW!
Snow storms and baby showers... busy month
Feb trish and I drove to Detroit to see my PREDATORS play!! They lost but I loved watching them up close and personal!!
FINALLY we have hockey!!! that was my FIRST game of the season. So excited to see them in NASHVILLE in MARCH!
House sat and dog sat for march break and more then headed south to NASHVILLE TN!!!!
Drove down by myself and had some CANADIAN friends to see while they were visiting the great music city too!
went to 4 Preds games and they won 3 of them :)
Linda and Angela flew down to hang out! We went to Preds meet n greets and radio shows and 1 game!
we went to many shops and stores like we used to do!
fun times, nice weather!
EASTER in TN! great church service!

drive home with the girls and we sang and wrote some funny remix songs just like back in the day.
Came home from Tn and gave my notice at my house... roommate issues. Looking for a new place and hoping to find something fun!

basketball finals and we came in 4th!
medical issues came up and I got it taken care of! Feels good to feel better :)
Mom n Dad SOLD their house and closed with moving date of May 1st!

lots to pack n do.... i had to pack me and my parents!
They moved into their new place April 30th, and I moved into my new place May 1st!
lots of change for us all!
mom and dads new place is AWESOME and it feels like they live at a cottage full time which is GREAT for them!
I moved into a townhouse and thankfully get the master bedroom with BIG closet :)

So far so good!
Life is busy, life is great!

I am headed to Nashvile again June 5-10th with some girls from cambridge... basically a free ride down, they drive and I get to be in my FAV city!
I'll prob rent my own car to get around while they are at CMT events!

Wow I have not written in awhile and not sure anyone is reading but... UPDATE time!
Summer went well, I loved my time with my Personal Trainer and def feel better/healthier/stronger!
Aug- Boots n Hearts festival was AMAZING- Canada's first HUGE country music festival. i had VIP weekend thanks to SHANE YELLOWBIRD, and loved seeing artists like Carrie Underwood, Lionel Ritchie, Gord Downie, Kid Rock and many more!!
I saw my fav boy LORD STANLEY (stanley cup) in AYR with winner Kyle Clifford! Good times
My beautiful Niece turned 1- so cute! i bought her a tea set with cart and fake food, lol

Sept- was good.... Went shopping in buffalo. I won tix to see JASON MRAZ and loved that!!
Sadly the NHL went into a lockout an yet again wrecked my life :( so sad... I hate not watching hockey!
My cousin Erin got married!

Oct- I took my reg Oct trip to Nashville even without Hockey, it was nice to see friends and be there and not have to miss events etc due to hockey games, not that it was a good thing, I miss hockey SO MUCH!  Saw my friend gabby get married and saw a free Luke Bryan show on broadway!
I saw Cirque show AMALUNA, it was incredible!
My Nephew turned 4 years old, he is growing way too fast, he is so smart. He started JK school this year and is ahead of most kids in reading and letters.
I got to hang out and catch up with my good friend Jeanette who is now living in California!
Apt hunting now because Mom and Dad are putting their house up for sale! They are moving to a Modular Home (glorified trailer park) and its beautiful! 2 bed, 2 bath.
Halloween- I was Pebbles from flinstones and then I was puck bunny again!

NOV- MOvember! raising money for Prostate Cancer!
Busy month of work and cleaning moms place to show it. Cleaning out all the junk, I think I have been to the Goodwill at least 7 times now! :P
I found a place to live, renting a room in Kitchener with a nice lady and her 2 small dogs!
I took some things over this week and will move all the rest this friday!
SO excited to have and decorate my own space again! She is building me my own bathroom, so it won't be done this week but should at least be IN soon, functional toilet, sink and shower! :)
it will be weird to be renting again, but so great as well. I know mom will miss me but its good for both of us, as she is moving to a smaller house and I need my own space again too!
December is coming so soon..... Christmas will soon be here and I am headed south to Nashville with Trish for 2 weeks!

One month ago I wrote.... wow I must be on a monthly thing- to post on the 7th of every  month lol!
July was MUCh better then June!

I did my work outs with Mychel and I am in my last weeks, sad to see it end!
I have lst some weight but really just got back into better shape! Scale numbers don't mean much to me, its all about how I look and feel on the inside and out and only matters what I think not what others think!

I was proud to be Haileys GODMOTHER at her baptism!! She is so sweet and cute and fun and amazing, I look forward to watching her grow and grow!
Lucas is amazing as well, so smart- we are all nervous for his JK teacher this fall, he already knows his ABC's and numbers and he knows his address and he knows his vowels... I mean what doesn't this kid know already? lol sheesh!
So smart and cute! I love them both!

I started my own business MISHWAH- its consulting, but meaning I am here to help those in need!
I can Nanny, House cleaning, House sitting, Pet sitting and more..... help those around me who need help!
Its what I do!


Had a lot of crazy NASHVILLE PREDATORS news this summer too- Suter left and I was soooo happy!
Tootoo left and I was sooooooo sad :(

I am excited for the season to start!

My friends cat passed away this week, very sad! I used to watch TAYLOR when his family was away every Christmas and now it will be so different without him! :(

Uncle Marty turned 70 and went skydiving- how awesome is that!? I hope I am doing crazy fun things at the age of 70 too, its not OLD, its just OLDER!

My friend Shannon had a baby girl- Charlotte aka CHARLIE, so sweet, can't wait to meet her!

Life is good, working my 4 part time jobs, but looking forward to the fall for travels all over!

Updates

June was a VERY hard month..... emotionally, physically and much more!
One of my clients that I clean house for passed away, and that was very sad, I saw him every week he was an amazing older man who loved Hockey so we always would chat about the game and our teams!
I will miss you JACK! I was even more sad that the family didn't call me to tell me when the funeral was, so I missed it :(

Then I got an eye irritation which felt like metal IN my eye and was red and sore and swollen, saw the eye DR and he wasn't sure, so I tried 4 different drops over the next 4 weeks, it is feeling better, but was still dried out! I go to see the DR again in a few weeks, hope all is better!

Then Aunt Lou flew here cuz Norm wasn't doing well, he had fallen and was in Hospital and not eating etc..
he was suffering and God knew it was time.... Norm passed away and so Uncle Don and Scott flew in to help and to be here for the Funeral and to be with Joyce (norms wife) all very sad.
Norm was my uncles dad but not my grandpa but he lived across the street from Aunt Sue so we saw him often! loved him heaps!

It was a rough month and work was just busy and overwhelming with all these things. I felt drained.

I am doing MUCH better now! I have started a 6 week weight loss/tone up program, I have a personal trainer MYCHEL who is helping me twice a week and a nutritionist Donna who is making me a meal plan!
Here goes nothing...... ready to see a change! lets do this!
Today was session 1 of 12..... hard work, but felt great after, just have to stick with my program and eat right, no drinking (hard part) lol and I can do this!



Determined to feel better and get back in shape!
House sitting lots this summer and going to a few weddings and man concerts, should be fun!

SMASHVILLE for PLAYOFFS!

I worked 2 days mon and tues, then packed my bags for NASHVILLE again!
Trish and I drove tues night after my basketball game. Left around 10:20pm.... drove through the night, stopped in southern Ohio at 4:30am to get a hotel! Slept for 5 hours or so and was up and ready to drive to my fav place on earth.. SMASHVILLE!
We arrive just after 2pm Nashville time (3pm at home) and drive straight to TIN ROOF for lunch on the patio, hot sun was awesome to sit in and enjoy the food!
Drove to Romans to unpack and get ready!
Headed downtown at 5pm for PREDS PLAZA party.. met friends for a drink at Rippys!
We got our faces painted and went inside the arena. got our pics taken and went to say hi to friends at Auction table, then went to get our free GOLD shirts!
Our seats were high up but great view of the ice!
micheal W Smith sang with the band during first intermission! lol crazy
We moved down to section 103 to sit near some friends cuz there was empty seats! THANKS THOMAS!
GREAT view, great seats, with HOT row of men behind us.... one or 2 from Australia :)
GREAT GAME PREDS WIN GAME 1 with the score 3-2!!!

EXCITED! I stood on the seats and whipped my gold shirt around and cheered SO LOUD it hurt:)
Game 2 is fri!
We went out to Flying Saucer for a drink and food!

Thurs- up and ready to shop! Bring on this beautiful SUNNY day! did I mention that I LOVE THIS CITY??? lol
