Rest of my trip to SMASHVILLE

Wednesday was a busy day... I had to rest after my night out partying with Jeff!
I went for lunch with Jill and Addison at Panera and then we went shopping at Target (yes again)
I went to starbucks to get a treat then went over to Hodgins house to hang with kids. I was watching the 3 boys while Hannah went to the Doctor.
Good times, those boys are FULL of energy!
I raced back downtown to Blackstone restaurant to see the Jordin Tootoo radio broadcast! His special guest this time was rookie Craig Smith and during commercial breaks they would sign autographs and take pics, so I lined up and near the end got to chat with the boys! took my pic of course with them too!
Went over to South St to drink with Todd and the boys. then we hit up MERCY LOUNGE for free concert and played some pool. Good to see Coffee who stopped by.
home to bed!

Thurs- Happy birthday JC
I went to franklin to meet up with Kristin and head to the kids school where they were having Thanksgiving lunch and family could join- Hannah asked me to join her SO CUTE.. so we went and ate turkey and stuffing with them on lunch break, took pics!
I went to shop some more.... as always!
I raced to dinner with Paul at Urban Flatts and it was delicious! Pizza and Wine- yum!
Paul dropped me off at arena to meet Roman and I got my ticket and RAN inside to catch the end of warm-up!!!
PREDS vs LEAFS.... game on!
Great game..... we won 4-1 and I had a sign that said REAL CANADIANS CHEER FOR THE NASHVILLE PREDATORS and waved it to a whole section of Leafs fans, they did not like me :P
I was so happy we won! Patron club after for drinks and celebrate. Hornquist came up for after game show! I finally met Joe who had been my online/text friend for months cuz he is a Leafs fan who lived in Nashville and I am a Preds fan who lives near Toronto!! He is hot! (see pics)
I couldn't stay out late. big drive ahead!

FRI- woke up, packed, ate and headed north- home to Canada eh!
Drive in good time, got to Burlington at 7:15pm after leaving Nashville at 7:30am their time!
Met trish and she drove us to TO to party with MATT for his birthday!
Shower and change and out to party the night away- was great!
Slept at Matts cuz I was too tired to move.

Sat- Back to my car in burlington and off to Amandas to get my hair and make up done for my photo shoot that day!
Back to Burlington to meet DAMIEN D PHOTOGRAPHY for my shoot!
Forest theme this year but I had no great outfit chosen, so we mixed it up! Wore some green and red mitts and black n white, emo xmas lol!
Shoot went well I can't wait to see all the pics! I will choose 1 or 2 of my fav and hand them out in Xmas cards!

I raced to Caledonia for Sara Hignells 30th SURPRISE birthday party!! i was a lil late... but she came running and crying when I got there... she was very surprised and happy to see me :)
Great food, great to see her and her family- GREAT night!

I rushed home to cambridge to see my AUNT LOU who had flown in from BC on thurs for my AUNT RENEE's b-day! So fun to see my mom and her 3 sisters... all dressed in matching pj;s and just laughing at everything and loving life!!
Then home to bed!


SUN-family day! PARTY for RENEE at Sues then to Galt View for dinner! Great to have everyone ALL together! fun times!
Aunt Renee turned 70 today! wow wow wow she looks good!


Overall AMAZING week down south and awesome busy weekend to come home to!

Trish and I are planning our Dec trip to NASHVILLE going down Dec 26- Jan 2nd... bring it on- I love that city!

Tuesday in Smashville

What a great day..... Lunch with Joel Morgan at Jacksons where there was hair in my salad and that was uber gross but such a funny lunch, we laughed SO much and it hurt cuz we both have sore throats!
Raining today urgh. I drove to Opry Mills Mall and realized its not open yet from the FLOOD years ago!!!
Drove to Brentwood/Cool Springs to shop... I love Target!
Back downtown to get ready for PREDS game... made my sign WORTH THE DRIVE FROM CANADA!
Hit up the game with free ticket from Todd, met up with Stacey and Danielle and saw Tim and my guys in 111.
Jeff drove in from Cambridge just in time for the 3rd period and ALL the goals! what a great 3rd period.
Nashville is the BEST arena..... we showed a high light reel of Joel Wards goals and hits while he played here and then the crowd goes crazy, standing ovation and the screen says THANK YOU JOEL WARD (for playing here last year) ya we are THAT nice.... I love it!
Ovechkin couldn't score which I loved- yuck he is the ugliest man in the NHL.
Happy to see my Preds live... and to show Jeff G what SMASHVILLE is all about..... he was blown away with the energy and enthusiasm of our crowd.. I am proud to call this place my real home!

So much cheering in 3rd period I was losing my voice again! Went to chat with friends then up to the PATRON CLUB to see Mike Fisher in radio after show..... I held up my sign WORTH THE DRIVE FROM CANADA- he liked it :)

out to party... downtown on broadway to show Jeff the local bars! Stage, Tootsies, Roberts et.. so much fun! Met some GREAT people.
One guy who says he is bff with Russell Peters..... crazy.

Over to TIN ROOF, my fav bar in town! Joel Ward was walking in as we were.. talked to him, SO great to see him in this city again, we miss him, I miss him!

Danced it up there, then home to bed around 3 or 4 or something.... wow!

Off to breakfast with Todd and lunch with Jill then out to Franklin to see my Hodgins!!!

Monday in SMASHVILLE

Hello friends

Last night I had a fun night with Christy and Ryan as we sat outside with a fire roaring and chatted about life. It was SO nice outside it felt great to sit out there with NO coat!

Today is suppose to get up to 75F, wow eh! I love life!
Tonight is the CHUCK WICKS show at 3rd and Lindsley.. COME!

So I broke down and joined TWITTER.... ya oh boy, another thing to do online.. but it helps me keep up to date with others which is good.

11/11/11 AND 11/12/11

November 11th 2011
I drove to Nashville TN this day.... went through a SNOW STORM in London area but nowhere else.... was weird!
I had to pass many accidents and there were 3 on hwy 75 alone.. sheesh!
So I spent 12 hours in my car and was just ready to be IN Nashville and no longer in a car.
I got to town JUST in time to pick up my race package for my first 1/2 marathon!! Met up with Doug and Roman and then went back to Romans to unpack!
We went out for food, pasta at Americo and then to Kroger to get some groceries and breakfast food!
In bed by 11:30pm! That is a first for Nashville too LOL

Nov 12th, up at 615am... urgh, ate toast and an apple. Got dressed and ready for my race. Roman and Doug were running too,... but none of us were running together!
Race started at 7am.
I AM ALIVE... i ran my First 1/2 Marathon in 2hrs and 36mins!! Was good, first 6.5 miles was great then I stopped to pee and was sore after that... lol but kept going and I was proud to finish and in decent time! Thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers! I got my medal and my free beer I love NASHVILLE Preds game at 6 I LOVE LIFE <3
We will head down early to party in the Preds party area then go in to see my 2011-2012 PREDS... my first game this year... wow feels like I have not been here in forever.. SO EXCITED to see our team!
Tonight is the teams and Barry Trotz (head coach) 1000th game! PARTY!
Let's beat those Montreal boys hahahaha

Chillin for a bit this afternoon resting my feet and my calves-ouch! lol all good.
Shower then hit up downtown for PREDS time! I love this city SO MUCH and wish I could live here forever.
busy week ahead... I shall keep y'all posted ;)
